We have a annual banquet with guest speakers and prizes/auctions. We have 3 trad clubs in Tn and we support the three of them and try to organize hunts as well as provide info on each club in quarterly magazines.
We have a link on TradGang, and we also have flyers available upon request, as well as t-hirts/hats/stickers. We also try to have a booth set up at the major shoots in Tn.
I honestly see Trad archery with a much stronger foundation in 30 years. Although I don't know how many people will stick to trad archery. I think trad attracts a certain personality and many people are more centered around the destination, not the journey. And I honestly don't know if that is all bad.
Visit some local archery clubs and try to access websites. There is a wealth of info as well as an abundance of people wanting to help other new trad archers.
Probalby a hog or deer hunt in East Tn. The scenerey there is some of the prettiest in America.
Big trips are always nice, just this past September a good friend of mine and myself spent 9 days in Colorado chasing elk. But any trip shared with good friends is a great memory in itself.
Longbow mostly, but I do play around with recurves some.
